The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is the place to go when you want to get tutorial support…do research...study...do group work...or just chill! The main area of the ARC can get a little noisy. Individual study carrels are arranged around the outside of the room to give students a space to study by themselves. In addition, the ARC has six group study rooms, one of which (#18) is equipped with a desktop computer and 50-inch flat screen television for students practicing classroom presentations. The ARC has 88 total computers stationed for student use (common area , computer lab , math lab , and writing lab ). All computers require a Baker login; ask ARC staff for assistance if you do not have one. Our department is also equipped with two black and white printers and two full-color multi-function printers (print, copy, and scan). Additionally, we have the Kurzweil 3000 Text-to-Speech software available for students with documented accommodations. Computers are to be used for course-related purposes only. Those using the computers for other purposes may be asked to move if the computer is needed.
