Welcome to the Jackson Learning Support Services!

The Learning Support Services staff are here to help! The LSS is a free service for all current students to get the help they need to make their time in college as successful as possible. If students need to complete research, print off course materials, or get some extra help in the form of peer tutoring, we are here to help.

Some services we provide are:

Visit the Baker College of Jackson Writing Center for help from our campus writing experts.

Come with specific questions for Writing Center staff, or work on your paper at the center, and ask questions as they arise.

Best of all, the Writing Center is a FREE service, open to all Baker College of Jackson students.


Academic Advising

The LSS has five dedicated academic advisors to assist students with planning their Baker College careers.  Whether students are brand-new or re-entry, the advisors are here to answer any questions students have, register students for courses, and to help keep them within their program's rotation schedule.

Students may see advisors on a walk-in basis or make an appointment by calling 517-841-4500.
