Welcome to the Academic Resource Center (ARC)

The mission of the Academic Resource Center at Baker College of Clinton Township is to support teaching and learning by providing opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff to develop and practice skills and strategies necessary for success in their academic and professional endeavors.

The ARC combines the Library, Learning Support Services, and Advising.

ARC Services

Tutoring: With Peer Tutors, Professional Tutors, and Instructional Tutors, the ARC is dedicated to helping students succeed in their courses.

Library / Research Help: Librarians are available to help you one-on-one with your research assignments. Visit us in the ARC, give us a call or e-mail, or use our ASK US service

Testing: The ARC provices accommodated testing, waiver testing, and make-up testing, all by appointment only.

Advising: Stop in to see an advisor for academic advising, career counseling, or personal counseling.

Located across from the ARC, the Writing Center offers support for any part of the writing process in all program areas. Open weeks 2 - 9. Register and make an appointment at WCOnline.

 

Computer use is available to current students and alumni. A Baker ID or Guest Card is needed to print. Visit the Student Printing page for more information.

Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a quiet study area in the northeast corner of the ARC.
