Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Baker College Libraries is to fully support the educational endeavors of students, faculty, and staff of Baker College

  • By providing services and instructions,
  • By collecting and organizing curriculum focused resources and
  • By providing access to new information products and services,

thereby making the library a destination conducive to effective learning and academic success.

Welcome to the Jackson Campus Library!

The Library is the place to go when you want to do quiet research and study.

The main area of the library can get a little busy.  Study tables are arranged around the outside of the room to give students a space to study by natural light.  There is also a cozy area and two group study rooms.

The library has 23 computer stations and 10 laptops for student use.  All computers require a Baker login and the laptops for in-library use require a valid Baker College ID card.  Ask the library staff for assistance.

Computers are to be used for research and class work purposes.  Those using the computers for other uses may be asked to move if the computer is needed for academic purposes.

Let the Library guide you through research!
