Billboards - a flat surface or board, usually outdoors, on which large advertisements or notices are posted
Books - a number of sheets of paper, parchment, etc. with writing or printing on them, fastened together along one edge, usually between protective covers.
Comic Books - a magazine that contains stories told in pictures.
Magazines - a publication with a paper cover which is issued regularly, usually every week or every month, and which contains articles, stories, photographs, and advertisements.
Newspapers - a publication consisting of a number of large sheets of folded paper, on which news, advertisements, and other information is printed.
Periodicals - a publication issued at regular intervals, usually monthly or weekly
Posters - a large notice or picture that you stick on a wall or board, often in order to advertise something.

Introduction to Media Studies: Historical DevelopmentThis book was created by the students in Cathie LeBlanc’s Fall 2017 sections of Plymouth State University’s CM2770 (Introduction to Media and Cultural Studies).
