This class will teach students to:

• Demonstrate leadership skills through management functions (planning, organizing, leading and controlling) in healthcare decision-making situations.
• Utilize skills of planning, budgeting, financial reporting, implementing, and evaluating to formulate solutions to management problems.
• Utilize knowledge in health law and regulations to formulate solutions to health management problems.
• Evaluate decisions and situations within a healthcare setting that may have ethical implications and how to deal with them accordingly.
• Demonstrate professional behaviors and attitudes that promote success in the workplace as well as effective social interaction with diverse populations across a range of situations.
