Good To Know
When preparing your Introduction/elevator speech, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Make a good first impression; start with who you are.
Provide information about you and what makes you special.
Slow down. Too often, when given a limited amount of time to speak, there is a tendency to rush.
Record your speech and review it for pacing, clarity, and other areas to enhance.
Keep it brief! Your instructor will provide the specific time limits.
Practice! Practice! Practice!
