When preparing your Demonstration speech, keep the following things in mind:

• Remember your audience; this is an interactive Informative speech, so give the audience a reason to engage.
• Provide an overview of what will be taught in your demonstration.  Remember to keep it brief!
• Think process and divide the speech into steps.
• Leave room for a brief Q&A.
• Summarize your goal of the speech as part of your closing.
• Practice! Practice! Practice!
