Professional Development Grant Baking and PastryEligibility: Applicants must be working culinary professionals, current ACF members, and have completed a continuing education course in pastry arts or bakery within 6 months of the application date.
Amount: Half the cost of the approved continuing education program, up to $500.
Professional Development GrantsEligibility: Working culinary professionals who have completed initial certification and passed with a "C" or better, or for continuing education (must be a ACF member in good standing for at least 2 years, certified as a chef de cusine or higher).
Amount: Up to $500 for approved courses.
The James Beard Foundation
The Jean-Louis Palladin Professional Work/Study GrantEligibility: 21 years of age or older, at least three years of experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen.
Programs: The award is intended to enable professional cooks and chefs to work with producers of food products at their source. Applicants can select from approved internships or design their own course of study.
Amount: Up to $4,000 to help cover travel, living expenses, and income subsidies during the internship.
The Rhone Rangers Professional Study/Travel GrantEligibility 21 years of age or older, U.S. citizen, at least 3 years of experience as a wine director, sommelier, or chef.
Program Recipeints will visit notable wineries to learn about American Rhone varietal wines.
Amount Up to $5,000.
The Richard Sax Food Action Grant is awarded to each year to a nonprofit working to combat hunger and increase food access in the city hosting the IACP annual conference.
